Subject: Vet record

Hi Nancy – here is a receipt from our visit to the Jesup Vet Clinic on Friday.  Our vet said everything looks great with Sixx.  She’s still only about 3 lbs, but she wasn’t a very big eater the first few days as she settled in, but now she’s catching up :)

She’s settling in very well – still having a few accidents here and there but that’s usually if we’re not watching her closely.  She has settled down at night and doesn’t bark or whine unless she needs to be let out, which is usually just once a night.  The girls love her and she is a lot of fun to have around.

Thanks again!

Hi Nancy!

Hope all is well!

Brewer is doing AMAZING! He is such a good puppy! He did so well on the long car ride home. We would stop every so often to let him out to go potty and play and then he'd get right back in the car and go right to sleep. He didn't have any accidents on the way home or get car sick :)

He is also doing so well in our apartment. Only two minor accidents.. but we caught him in the act so I think that helped him start to learn:) He wakes up only one time a night to be taken outside. He is such a playful great addition to our lives :)I can't thank you enough for all that you have done and I don't think we could have picked a better puppy :)

I hope all goes well for the new litters.

Subject: Puppy Love :)

Hi Nancy!
I wanted to give the pups a little relaxation time and bonding before I bombarded them with my camera. *LOL* They are absolutely wonderful. I am so in love with these little guys, it's unreal! They seem to have their own routine. During the day, they sleep in their bed. At night, they sleep in their crate. The door is off it, so they can go in and out as they please. They love being outside and follow me around so closely I have to be very careful not to step on them. I have to say, they are so much cuter in person. It's hard to judge a pup from pictures, but I couldn't have more picked more perfect puppies. They use the paper in the pen 99% of the time, and do their poops mostly outside. They had no problems eating as soon as I put food in their pen and they have toys and chews which they love. Introducing them to the big dogs will be an ongoing process and it is going very well. You will see in one of the pics, Mandy and Riley decide they want to see what the "big dogs" eat and visit Storm while she's eating. The main thing about Storm is her lack of gracefulness. She is so clumsy and our only concern is that she may inadvertently step on one of them. Naturally, we will never have them unsupervised at any time. They have a very nice sized pen and as soon as they wake up, I take them outside to go potty. They are just so funny to watch! The cats are all avoiding them...I guess they aren't sure what to make of them *LOL* Enjoy the pics, I will write again soon.

Hi Katherine,

Barb's daughter decided on the black on red dapple female so I will have the black and tan female and one of the other 2 red females when Amanda chooses her pup, and of course the 2 boys you were looking at. Please let me know if being around them bothered Greg's allergies too much. The only other small breed I can think of that are workable with allergies are poodles. Portuguese Water Dogs are a medium size hypo allergenic breed, but are not a well known breed and pretty expensive if you can find one.

Thank you so much Nancy for getting back to me. Unfortunately, Greg's allergies were affected by the puppies last night. If I had my way, I would have bought 2. So, I guess for now we're not going to be able to get any. Thank you again for your time- Also, I just wanted to tell that for what it's worth, I think you have a great business going, and it is extremely apparent that all of your dogs and puppies are loved and really cared for. I would have loved to buy a puppy from you. If I ever come across someone looking for a dachshund, I'll send them your way. Again, thanks, Katherine.

Hi nancy,
We took Gracie to the vet today for her first appt.  She weighed 2.7 pounds (she was 2 lbs 13 oz the day she left, which is 2.8 lbs).I say it is the difference in the scales.  she has been eating, but she has been playing and the stress of leaving her siblings etc.  the vet said she looked good!!  no problems.  She praised you for all the good information you provided for them.  Thank you!!!
with school starting and going to see my neice etc, we have not downloaded any pictures, so will get those out this weekend.  i want to edit some of the video I shot and show you with my brother's puppy.  they played hard... I think she might be a little bored today.  they will be back at it in a couple weeks.
thank you again!

Subject: Pictures of Sixx

Hi Nancy - thought you might enjoy seeing some pictures of Sixx since she's grown so much!  She's a wonderful puppy - so energetic, but yet patient with her sisters (our daughters).  She loves her chew toys, running around the yard and sleeping in our bed :)

Thanks for such a great puppy!
