I have had requests for longhair puppies which I have now added to my small kennel. I have posted my spring breeding schedule for 2010 below. An asterisk before the female's name denotes she is being bred to a longhair male. See all adults on the Dachshunds Page. These are all projected due dates and will be approximate annual dates  that each of my females will be bred. Doxies can cycle anywhere from 6 to 9 months and don't necessarily tell me what THEIR plans are.
DePayne's Callista Angeni to Romeo - Bred 12/8/09. Due date approximately 2/9/2010. Probable colors will be black and tan and chocolate and tan, probable some or all dapples. Possibly long and smooth coats. Pups should mature around 9-10 pounds. Update: She can safely whelp anytime in the next few days. Will be a small litter...maybe just 1 or 2 pups. I'm hoping it isn't a false pregnancy which is fairly common in Doxies. Should know soon!

Sundance Sizzle to Rex - due in heat now. Possible colors red, ee red, shaded red, blue, black and tan, chocolate. Possible patterns piebald, dapple, or dappled piebald. Smooth coats. Pups should mature around 9-11 pounds.

Cally is the next due to have pups. More information on when pups are due is below.  Pictured with her favorite toy. Cally turned 2 in July and this will be her first litter. She is such a gorgeous girl and I am excited to see her babies when they arrive. She is one I raised myself from 8 weeks and she sleeps on my pillow every night with her little blue 'stuffy toy'. All of Cally's toys are blue. When I buy new toys, she always grabs the blue ones and hides them under my pillow. She's also the only one with a blue flea collar :) She carries that toy everywhere and sits by the washer and dryer worrying when it's time to clean it LOL. Pictures of Cally and her pups will be posted here when they arrive.
