***MY HEALTH GUARANTEE***

A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is required to hold a puppy until picked up and paid in full. All fees must be paid in full before air shipment or pick up is made.

All of my puppies will be examined by my vet and issued a written health certificate within 5 days of being picked up by or shipped to the new owners, and guaranteed free of *communicable disease* for 30 days from pick up or shipment date. Health guarantee is null and void if follow-up vaccinations, wormings and vet exam are not done by the new owner. You must have your pup examined by your vet within 7 days of receiving it to keep the health guarantee in force.

If any serious health issues are found by your vet, it will be replaced from the current litter, if any are still available, or from the next available litter. Puppy replacement does not shipping costs. I will assume responsibility for a replacement puppy only, including the micro chip (only if your previous pup was chipped. A veterinary statement MUST be turned in to me for puppy replacement due to any health issues with euthanasia required. A necropsy is also required to show cause of death.

If a puppy should die for any reason, including hereditary health issues (ie: heart problems), a necropsy must be performed by a veterinarian and the results turned in to me within 10 days, showing the cause of death. Puppies are guaranteed against hereditary health problems from date of birth and commiserate to the package purchased, and must be diagnosed by a veterinarian. Death or illness caused by negligence on the part of the owner is not covered under the health guarantee. All veterinary statements MUST include the puppy's micro chip number.

Health guarantee is in force for original buyers only and is not transferable.

*Communicable disease does not include parasites such as worms or coccidia. Any and all treatment for parasites are noted in health records issued with pup and any followup treatment needed is also noted. Every effort is made to guarantee the health of your pup.*

Pricing of Puppies and Buyer Information:

Due to the economy I have lowered prices for my pups as much as I can to keep them affordable. All pups are sold with AKC applications as listed in the Package Options below. A slight increase has been added due to increase in kennel licensing by the state. This increase begins with pups reserved after 4/1/2010 and does not affect those people who reserved their pups prior to that date. State sales tax will be added to prices below.

I have previously refused to sell pups without the micro chip implants, but due to findings that in a small percentage of dogs chips have migrated and caused health problems, and in some cases have caused cancer, if you choose not to have your pup micro chipped, let me know. I don't have them implanted until the pups are taken to the vet for their health exam and certificate just before leaving, so you have up until that time to decide on whether you wish to take the option of not having it done. I have my own dogs chipped, but I understand if others are not comfortable with it.

If you choose Package 1, you will need to sign a spay/neuter contract for your pup. You will find the contract on the same page as the questionnaire.

You can see the new litters using the Litter Photos, Male Pups, and Female Pups buttons to the left when I have pups available. The male and female pup buttons are to individual pictures of the males and females once the puppies reach 1 week of age. All sold puppies are marked. The pictures are updated on their weekly birthdays. Once the puppies are sold, you are welcome to have your name and contact information put on my reserve list for future litters. Please fill out my questionnaire to reserve your pup using the button to the left. A non-refund-able deposit is required to reserve a pup.

My Puppy Regimen

Pups are weighed weekly from 1 to 8 weeks of age and noted under their pictures on the male and female pups pages and also in their health records. First deworming is done at 4 weeks and dewormed bi-weekly. Their first vaccination is a puppy distemper parvo modified live virus vaccine and is given at 4 weeks of age. The second vaccination is a 7 way modified live virus vaccine. If the pups are still here at 12 and 16 weeks, they are vaccinated with the 7 way vaccine as well at each of those ages. Pups are given ear mite preventative drops at 6 and 8 weeks. They are given Albon for 4 days prior to leaving to prevent coccidia. The last dewormer given at 8 weeks is a broad spectrum wormer (covers all types of worms) that also is a preventative for giardia. They begin eating Purina Puppy Chow at 4 weeks and are weaned at 7 weeks. Toenails are clipped as needed. They are bathed as needed. Litters are given daily time to play with each other when old enough. Pups are handled and loved daily and are very sociable. They are given toys to play with when their mothers are not with them and all the time once they are weaned. Individual pictures of pups are taken weekly and updated on the website through 8 weeks of age.
