These are the results of the 4 H shows Hayley & Phoebe and Jonnie & Piper competed in over the summer. I'd also like to note and commend these 12 and 9 year old owners/handlers for training their pups themselves under their mother Lori's guidance! Way to go girls...all four of you!!
Hayley and Phoebe got 3rd blue obedience, 2nd Purple showmanship.
Jonnie and Piper received 2nd blue obedience, 1st. Purple showmanship.

Carmella is out of Chloe De Payne and sired by Diablo De Payne. She lives in Texas and has been training for agility by her owner Darcie Meyers. She's doing very well. Way to go Darcie and Carmella! (She inherited her dam's motion sickness for more than short rides in a vehicle so you will see mention of it in the below notes from Darcie)

Here first trial is the weekend after Christmas. She did an awesome job Wed night at class. I am going to pleased with her at the show if I can actually get her to go over one obstacles correctly. She is very immature and gets clingy when presented with a new situation. I am taking her that weekend just to have fun and build her confidence.
Wed night she did an awesome job on her second run but she is comfortable at that location. She has bee going there for several months and each week she gets more comfortable with herself. I believe once she finally matures she will do a great job.

Hey,
I forgot to let you know that Carmella got her first Q at the NADAC trial we went to between Christmas and New Years. She did so much better than I expected. In two days she actually had 2 runs with only time faults. 3 runs with obstacle faults and then her qualifying run and she placed 4th. I was so proud of her. She was nervous and overwhelmed as I had expected but she tried really hard to please me

Nancy,
Just wanted to let you know that Carmella went to a NADAC trial two weeks ago and got 3 qualifying runs. She needs one more jumper and one more regular to get her first NADAC leg. Will start with AKC this winter. She still gets concerned but has turned into a beautiful, well tempered girl, and is great with grand kids

Just wanted to tell you that Carmella has gotten her Nadac novice agility title along with her Novice jumpers title. She is going to her first AKC trial tomorrow morning.
She is such a treat. Now she only salivates a little when we first get in the car. Have to be sure though that she still travels on an empty stomach.

We took the girls geocaching the other day. They had so much fun running through the woods.

Just wanted to let you know that Carmella went to her first AKC agility trial and got a 4th and Q in novice standard the first day, and a 3rd and q in jumpers and a second and q in standard the 2nd day. She also got her Canine Good Citizen award. She had no issues with any parts of the test.
